Accessibility & Compliance
01. Our Commitment
Apex Design LLC ("Apex Design," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring that apexdesignservices.com (the "Site") is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe the web should be usable by all visitors, regardless of ability, and we are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of our Site on an ongoing basis.
02. Standards We Aim to Meet
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our reference standard. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
03. Measures We Take
Ongoing accessibility efforts for this Site include:
- Using semantic HTML and proper heading structure so content is navigable with assistive technology
- Providing descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and background
- Supporting keyboard navigation throughout the Site
- Testing pages with automated accessibility scanning tools
- Reviewing new pages and features for accessibility before they are published
04. An Ongoing Process
Web accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. As we add new pages, features, and content to the Site, we continue to review and improve accessibility. If any part of the Site does not currently meet the standard we're aiming for, we are actively working to address it.
05. Third-Party Content & Tools
Our Site may include content, tools, or links provided by third parties (such as embedded maps, forms, scheduling tools, or payment processors) that are not under our direct control. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content, but we choose vendors and tools with accessibility in mind wherever possible.
06. Known Limitations
Despite our ongoing efforts, some pages or features on the Site may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware that full compliance is a continuous process, and we prioritize fixes as they are identified — whether found through internal review, automated testing, or feedback from Site visitors.
07. Feedback & Assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this Site, or need assistance accessing any content, please let us know. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to address reported issues promptly. You can reach us using the contact information below, or by emailing josh@apexdesign.net.
